I am 2 weeks post-op from a tummy tuck. During that time I have developed fatty necrosis in my lower abdomen. It is a large area from my belly button down to my incision. As of right now it is just a very hard area and tender around the edges. I wanted to know if anyone knew what I can do to soften the skin and rejuvenate the cells. I was sneeking a smoke occassionally in my 2nd week and have since stopped all together. Will it make a difference? Also, I have been lightly massaging the area thinking that it may help blood flow. Could that help? Can anyone offer any other suggestions? Thanks.

there are many causes for this. necrosis should not happen if the surgery was done correctly. however, smokers are at risk. you mentioned that you sneak smoking, so i think it has something to do with that particular issue.

Before to do any plastic surgery on your body, you have to know about it properly. Also you have to do ti by any proper and good surgeon.
